Planning for ConsentFest and SlutWalk 2012 is well underway! We’re excited to announce that the event has been expanded to 3 days, creating more opportunities for discussions about the intersectional oppression and power issues that contribute to sexual assault and victim blaming. Watch this space for details of the lineup to be added as they are confirmed!

Thursday, May 24th: SlutWalk Saskatoon. Meet at the park next to the River Landing Farmers’ Market at 6 PM. SlutWalk will be followed at 9 PM by a special film screening by Cinema Politica at the Broadway Theatre. Admission is free, and donations are gladly accepted.

Friday, May 25th: Speakers and discussion panel at Frances Morrison library

Saturday, May 26th: ConsentFest day in the park. Speakers, music, activities, and more to take place at River Landing Amphitheatre. Program begins 11 AM. ConsentFest will close out with a 19+ afterparty at Diva’s Private Club.
